I have a Rebel xs that I purchased for my wife to take shots at our sons football games. I get her access to the sidelines so distance is not a issuethe light is not the best so I purchased a Canon 70...
Nice action shots...would of been even nicer to see closer...but I'm not sure what happens when you do progression shots.

Excellent shots, Jzweco! I love reflection shots that tell more in the reflection than in the scene they're reflecting. The second shot does that better.

does anyone have suggestions on what combination of setting's would get the most out of my shots in theater setting lower light? -- the trick is candid, so alot of quick pics.....

The air looks crystal clear - does it effect the shooting process in any way? You probably get quite a lot of light.

All very good, but for some reason I really like the lt two shots. That group shot of the birds is especially interesting.

When I think of macros it's a photo right on without cropping-but I find that I still need to crop to get close-up so now it no longer feels like a macros...So what is it a close-up or a macros??...
