Description: While in the Army on weekend pass in Washington DC with my Polaroid, I got some shots which told me I might enjoy photography. Over 40 years later I'm enjoying it more than ever!

    Thanks, man! It was Labor Day weekend. I was stationed at nearby Ft. Meade. I spent the weekend, just me and my Polaroid, in DC. One of the best weekends of my life!

    Very nice picture, Jay, and cool that you still have the print. Interesting sky effect... almost posterized. Was that the way the shot originally looked, or is that an effect of the aging of the print?
