This is a Photo Challenge (Remember there maybe more than one page on these treads)

Take an image using the Rule of Leading lines (any subject you wish have fun with it, as long as it fits board rules)

Time frame to turn in a image will be two weeks from this date of post. Let me know if you guys/gals want to vote.

This is meant to be a learning Challenge, so I hope everyone will post an image, it will help others get ideas and understand the rules of photography.

What is the Rule of Leading lines?
Here are some good examples of the rule

Great topic, I'll get things rolling. Leading lines are a great element in photography, and really bring the viewer into the picture. When you mentioned this theme, I automatically thought about this one picture that I created not too long ago.

There we go...very nice. Love the low perspective in this shot. The track and the cross tie make for a great frame, as well as a leading line to the little boy. The b&w was a nice touch as well.

I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to try counting them either; probably more than I'm capable of right now!

But, I did have another photo on my desktop I wanted to share.... It was taken in Chama, New Mexico

Just love that Railtrack shot - What lens did you use as the granite stones are in focus (and veary clear) as well as the distant objects?

Actually this was also taken with a point/shoot camera before I got my DSLR! I think it was an 5mp HP something or other...! Glad you like the shot though!

Thanks Stari! These are fun! And I didn't realize exactly how much attention I'd been paying to the "Rules" until today at work. I had gotten an email with a bunch of great photos in it, and I realized that I was looking at each one thinking about the rule of thirds and the rule of leading lines in each one! I had to laugh!

I happened to pass under these three new bridges today, so backtracked to nab this shot. Unfortunately I overexposed the master shot, so I had to tweek this a little so it was presentable.

Adjusted some to compensate for taking the pic through the windshield. Not strong as those that have been posted...Will it suffice?

Greg; Gotta love the effect car lights give in long exposures. Beautiful!

Belle; Well done! I think the first one gets my vote.

Chakara; Clever use of multiple lines. Well done!

Juanita; Both are beautiful images, I like the second one the best. Great job!
