That will be a challenge for me. But willing to give it a try.
Also I am turning my 400square ft. den into a studio. What color should the walls be? I was thinking about Midnight Blue. Any opinions?

Well when I had my Studio I had my background wall painted Blue to use as a Background. You could paint it White for High Keyed or the Color you would like to use the most. Hope this helps some !

This would be a question for a different thread, but I would say white because if it is any other color (if you use lights) you may get a color cast from the wall, But if white you could use gels on your lights and bounce off wall to give a color cast when you want to. (Think of it as a big reflector)

Let me help everyone out or even just a few.
Some people may not understand the idea behind "Panning technique" showing speed.

What is Panning technique?
On a moving subject, using a slightly slower shutter speed than normal, keeping your subject on target and Move with your subject (or "Pan" with your subject) This (if done right ) will keep your subject in focus but smear your background. Don't feel bad if you don't get it right on the first shot, it takes practice. That is why it's called a Challenge But why not try it out for fun. What about some of you old time users too. hehe

This link should give you some good idea of the Panning technique, plus it gives some very good example images.

I always seem to be leaving it till the last moment to see if I can capture a better one This task has prooved to be quite difficult for me to capture an image as there is actually quite a bit of skill on getting all the aspects setup corrctly, from the speed of the target, length of exposure, and lighting conditions too. I hope that others are doing the same and you will get several images in the next couple of days
