own a canon power shot A590 IS. Been very pleased for almost two years. All of a sudden now the camera has a hard time taking pics in daylight or indoors when there is a light source in the backround such as a lamp on a table. Pics display "washed out" as if the camera is too sensitive to the light. Strange thing is it dosen't happen on every shot. Some are perfect and the next will be washed out???

Post an example of one of your washed out pictures. That way we can see if it is a meter issue, or if its just a case of falling victim to auto exposure.
