That link should take you to an image I posted of the old town hall at Historic Deerfield, about 10 minutes from my front door.

It was taken with an old Mamiya M645 which is a manual focus, medium format film camera. Used a hand meter. At the time the light sucked, the day was overcast, and when I left I was certain that God had punished me with bad light and there was nothing of value on the film. So when this arrived and I scanned it up, was pleasantly surprised.

Wish I could say I get an image like this on every roll, but it aint so. I've been waiting to get an image that might be worthy of this forum before posting.

I see now there is some dust and hair in the clouds, I'll have to clean the film and rescan or heal it out in photoshop. Also sorry for the large image, can't resize from where I'm at. Hopefully your web browser will shrink it to single screen size.

I like the image - love those type of historic buildings where they have huge pillars at the front. The lighting looks great, and even quite a bit of detail with the shadows and loads of colour too. Nicely done I think you can link the image to show in your post like this :

LEFTBRACE img size=500 RIGHTBRACE http://home.comcast.net/~disposable12/old%20town%20hall.jpg LEFTBRACE /img RIGHTBRACE

The LEFTBRACE = [
The RIGHTBRACE = ]
teh size is the number of pixels across - 500 fits well with this site

Thanks for the tip.

I work at posting some more images here in the future.

I should have a roll of 35mm film coming back that I used out in the snow to take shots of my Samoyed sled dog. I shot almost an entire roll on him using an old Minolta X-700... looking for one good shot to print up and put on our wall of family photos in the lower hall.

If I get a good one I'll post it here.
