I have an old photo with a Kodak stamp on the back.

It says: A color print made by Kodak

In the bottom left of the stamp it says:

NOV.71A (NOV.7 is in bold and the 1A is fainter)

Can anyone tell me if this means it was developed in Novemeber of 1971? or is it Nov. 7th and no year?

Does anyone know anything about the Kodak developing date stamping?

Thanks!
Sorry if I am in the wrong place to ask this question...I am a first timer and desperate to find out the date of this photo.

never mind, found out from a local studio,

the NOV.7 part is the date Kodak printed the photo and the 1A part would be the negative number.

i was looking for a year, but guess i'm out of luck

Can you scan and post the photo? Maybe we can give you a ballpark estimate based on details in the photo.
