March Challenge

The March Challenge will be on: "Ambient Light Portraiture". It will run from March 1 to March 31. The key hear is "Portraiture". No Flash setup of any kind ! Stari, will handle this months Photo's so Please send them the way you did for the Feb Challenge. Again I will be in and out so Stari will be in charge. Remember 2 Photo limit.

Well I guess it's time to vent some Frustration ! Here it is the 23rd of March and there are only entries from Stari and my self in the Ambient Light Challenge. That is not Acceptable. Usually people join Photo Forum's to learn and to Participate in Challenges. I don't think there is but a hand full of Real Photographers on this Site. Either everyone is afraid of hurting someones feelings or they just can't complete the Challenge. We have Photographers here willing to Teach, but I guess everyone that doesn't Participate all ready knows it all. Stari and I don't need a pat on the back for doing this Just some real Photographer's that want to Learn and not sit back and down grade everyone else ! We have a lot of good people here so where are the Photographer's ?

I'm finally going to have some material this weekend. The last month I've been shooting sports, a studio model paying for portfolio prints, and a major science fair. I've been concentrating on paid work because of bills. No opportunity for ambient-light people work. But next Sunday I'm working with a couple of Russian models both indoors and outdoors.

But, please, James, lighten up on berating people as "know-it-alls" and hurling a bunch of vague insults. And please don't start dividing this group as "real photographers" or (I suppose) phony photographers. As long as I've been here the underlying message of this place has been that if you take pictures, you're a photographer.

Bob I will looking forward to your Post ! I also respect you and the other Photographers hear on the Forum. I understand most of the Photographers here have to work for a living instead of taking Photo's. My whole intention was for the people here on this Forum not to jump up and down all excited when you or I bring something new in and then disappeare when the Challenge is almost over. I respect you and your work. I have ask for your help on several occasions and you have always been there. Thank You Bob ! I do what I do out of Love but the Military side does show up Sometimes.

Sorry Gorlor, Thank's for the Posting !

Hello Stari and all on the Forum. I am taking myself off the Monthly Challenges. Stari if you wish to keep it going I will leave that up to you. I very much Appreciate your help and all on the Forum. I am having some problems with some of my Medications that I am ending up saying not what I really mean. I will still stand by this Net and all of it's members and still Participate as much as I can. I hope I haven't hurt anyones Feelings and if so I Apologize !

I'm also sorry James, but I haven't been doing much in the way of photography since Sid got sick. I try to spend my free time with him and when ever I get a chance I'm out trying to get rid of some snow. I don't think I will be doing much shooting for a while.

Thank's Pat, take care of Sid. And use your Great Talent "Photography" to take care of Pat !

Been busy for the last few weeks. (Weddings every weekend) Just got on here. (I keep one eye on it)

Is everyone ok now?

James, I have only posted images that others have sent in. I have no images on here, Because I have been running it. If everyone want to keep it going then I'm ok.
I know I also want to do another Rules of.... but I've haven't had a chance to do it yet, Got some good ideas (but been busy with Weddings ) Anyway I have one more to post that I just got in from a user.

Scratch the Russian models. Tonight they both came up with "will have to reschedule, have out-of-state emergency trips this weekend." What are the odds both models have out of state emergencies on the same weekend? The calculations make my computer smoke!

What are the odds both models have out of state emergencies on the same weekend?

Are you sure they are not related (I have a friend that has like 12 kids)

its good to hav them anonoymous but on last months one had their copyright notice on theirs so not a big mystery who it belonged to
on this months one is also on the slide show so again everybody knows whos it is

Yes, that is the way it supposed to be. I thought It was listed in the rules, but now I see that it was listed on last month. But yes, that is why it is called a Blind Challenge. Thanks Johnson for reminding everyone.
