I was at the Georgia Aquarium when I took this picture. I really love this jellyfish. It is big and beautiful. I wanted to capture the beauty and size of the jellyfish. I have never had any of my pictures critiqued so please be honest yet gentle...

It would actually be hard to critique this one as small as it is. The color looks good, but the detail I can't determine. The head of the Jellyfish seems soft to me, but I can't say for sure. I would prefer to see a larger photo. Is there a way I can see one?

If you have a Flickr account or some such thing would be fine. All of my photos are stored there and linked back to here. I love the color, but the way the photo looks I think the camera may have AFed on the glass but I can't tell for sure.

Boy looks are deceptive! It looks VERY sharp and you should be congratulated. The only thing I would do different the next time is to apply the rule of thirds. Let the jelly fish stretch across the frame from the upper third (body) to the lower third (end of tentacles). Other than that you did AOK in my book!
