I am doing some freelance work for a newspaper, it's sports freelance and I will taking some shots that could be in consideration for publication. What would you all recommend I do to take decent photos, specifically in an arena/hockey situation.

What type of camera do you have and a bit about the lens you will be using - I know there is always great discussions on light vrs speed, etc.
