February Monthly Photo Challenge

1. The month start's on the 1st and end on the last day of the month.
2. The Challenge for February will be open, any 2 Photo's you want to send in.
3. Only Two Entries per month.
4. The Winner with 2nd Place and 3rd Place would be Posted with Photo's on the 10th of the following Month.
5. Let me know the Theme you would like to see for March.
6. Please follow all Forum Rules.
7. Photo's must be taken during current Month.

Must there be a theme?

If so, I recommend flying birds. I think many birds are on the move again and it would be interesting to see the birds each member see passing by in her/his own region.

Hello Chica, good to hear from you. For Feb. there is no Theme, everyone's favorite 2 photo's. If this work's March we will have a Theme.

this may be interesting james. I was kind of hoping to see something like this. question who is judging? what is the judging based on? are thier different levels based on photographic knowledge and experience?
i.e. Greg Vs. Me in a landscape based challenge, I already know I am toast lol.
Just wondering how this is all gonna go down.

I think every one gets to vote on a thread. Maybe (if you want) when sending in the images you can note photographer level (but even if someone is pro at one type of photography they may not be on other types) (see this can be hard)
Maybe we could have a few different ways to vote (like 1-5 for contrast, 1-5 for subject(idea), 1-5 exposure, etc...) that way in the end you could add up the points to see the over all winner etc... that would also let people know here the image strong and weak point are. Just an idea (to many things to think about.

Send photo's to me with no ID marks on Photo. March 1-10th. each member will Vote on 1st Nd and 3rd winner. I will post the photo's so know one will know who's Photo's they are looking at. The Winners will come from the Members Vote !

Hello Stari, Yes there are a lot of Options ! I believe just getting this off the ground I will make it as simple as possible. Then if it goes ok we can add different stuff as it moves along.

I've been away and trying to catch up...I'm a little confused what is the February Monthly Challenge? Leading lines-Third rules??? I'd like to give it a whirl!!!
