Copyright Infringement

Thought you all would be interested in following a copyright infringement case.. I'm at the edge of contacting the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs on this guy.. Thru Bois-Blanc.com this entity has been using images in the albums to dress up real estate ads on many real estate sites internationally thru out the internet without getting permission..

I'm diligently contacting the hosts of the real estate sites and reporting him.. I have faxed EBay and expect his auction will be removed soon.. I have yet to recieve a response to my emails to this guy.. Thru hits on our topic we have gotten first page status with the links to the real estate offer on the first page of Google search.. It would help potential buyers.. Please read the link below and you will understand better..

It's been a bummer doing this.. I sometimes wonder what gets into people's heads.. I consider myself a nonconfrontational person but feel I should follow up for the sake of principal. This entity is mis-representing a lot of things and offending a place and people I love..

Swoozie, I think this is a great thing that you are working on. I would love to see more, but your link doesn't seem to be working. Could you please check your address and make sure it is the right one?

So are people stealing my pictures too? How do I know if my are being stolen from here? If My pictures are being stolen from here then how do I delete my account?

From here? I don't think from here any photos are stolen.

The pictures in question are not being stolen from here. This post is unrelated to this board, but is good for information purposes, and to show that any time you put images up on the internet there is the possibility that someone will snag them and try to lay claim to the pictures.

There has been a copyright discussion in this forum a while back that talks about some copyright laws.

Oh ok. yeh thats true , any time you put something up there's that chance. Hopefully the kind of people that would do something like that will stay away from here.

Hopefully they will too.. If you are concerned about your images you could put a copyright notice on them or even in your post.. alt-0169 will make the © symbol. I'm going to add a copyright to my signature.. I've pulled all my online albums except my smugmug one.. It is a pro album and gives me right click protection.. Or keep your online albums private..
