Had the standard strap, tried a wide neoprene but got a little tired of the bounce (and it still put too much pressure on my neck which after a while made me fee sick). No (for a few months now) I have used a pap strap. It's very comfortable, lifts the weight of my equipment and doesn't bounce. Would recommend one to any one who does't get on with a regular camera strap.

Another solution for those that use camera backpacks is to place a caribiner clip on the hand strap at the top. With the backpack on, you can clip the camera strap (which is around your neck) to the clip. The bag and your shoulders support the camera and your neck is free from the strain. This is how I work it when I am in handholding mode.
