This is my firt time posting here. Nevertheless I just gotten a powershot a60 and
I'm haviung a problem with the flash. At first it was working fine for the first day I mean. For instance then after a while the flash would sometimes go off and other times it wouldn't, even though I had it set to always work. I speedily changed the batteries and still it works randomly. I hope someone knows what's goin on, and I seriosuly hope its not a product defect...

I have a A70, which is almost the same camera.

On the back of the camera there is a button with a "flash"-symbol, and on the LCD there normal is defiantly showed the flash and "A", for automatic.

If you press the flash-button the status in the LCD change to
"no-flash" and forecd flash (flash symbol without A) and the back to
Automatic. Take a look in the User guide page 67ff.

If you set it to forced flash - it will flash every time - if the camera is okay?
