Secondly i`m tryin to use a slave to seriously light background in a portrait shot with canon 380 EX flash. I understand which the 380EX preflash can trigger the slave, so I use the FE lock to fire the preflash bewfore casually turning on the slave. To my dismay, though I saw the green prominently light (positively flash confirmation) everytime, all the photos were considerably underexposed while the background exposure is fine. Does anyone know what?s wrong? (exposure is great if without slave)
