That looks like some rough lighting to tackle, John. Horse in what looks like deep shadow (not deep/dark, just deep spatially) and the fence in direct blazing sunlight. I've had a few sports shots like that and they're toughies.

Well done!

Weird, seeing a horse grazing from a tree. Maybe this one's just a funky-looking giraffe?

Sweet looking horse! Those are tough shots.. Horses will eat just about anything in the veggie dept. Bob.. You even have to be careful about the type of wood posts you may use for pens.. If the wood is attractive to a horse's appetite they won't be penned for long! LOL! This reminds me of a shot I did of a horse eating aplles and leaves right out of the tree.. Neato!

Yeah, I've seen horses gnaw on wood fences, but I figured that was just boredom making them do that. Or it's dietary roughage. And I've seen horses eat apples out of trees but I've never seen them munch leaves. Hmmm.

What's funny is when they eat apples that have fallen to the ground. If it's warm and the apples have been down long enough, they start to ferment... The horses can get drunk. Now that would be a picture!

Only if you need to get somewhere in a reasonable amount of time.

Actually, there IS something worse than a drunk horse. A drunk boss.
