There is really not that much to say...I am a landscape photographer who is trying to make a small name for myself in an overly saturated area of photography. I enjoy learning about the art, as well as teaching others things that I have learned. You can view my work at www.446Photography.com.

I became interested in photography when my dad taught me how to print B&W photos. I was about 12yrs old. My mom then gave me a Kodak Instamatic camera and I was all set. When I was around 19yrs old I got a job in a commercial studio doing Illustrative Advertising. Stayed 3 yrs and then opened my own place. As fill work I took newspaper assignments and also did promotional fliers for rock bands. Eventually I discovered the world of Wedding Photography. I did that for 9yrs and then had the opportunity to do headshot and portfolio work for various agencies, until I retired (semi actually) 6yrs ago. For the past 13yrs my wife and I have owned (me) and operated (her) a full service photo lab here in New Jersey. I’m still active in photography, both film and digital and probably always will be. My Flickr site shows times of my life that were important to me, nothing more, nothing less. Cameras I'm currently using: Santa Barbara 4x5" pinhole camera. Nikon D90: 28mm 2.8, 35mm 1.8G, 50mm 1.8 AF-D Mamiya RB-67 Pro-S 6x7: 127mm Mamiya lens. I have other Canon, Nikon and Minolta cameras, both film and digital, but I don't use them on a regular basis. I seem to collect stuff.

I am not a professional photographer, just someone who loves the relaxing and the time consuming hobby of taking pictures. With work life so hectic , it is refreshing to be able to have a few photos hanging around to remind me that there is a real world out there that I should pay more attention to as opposed to sitting in front of a computer screen. I generally love nature and all its intricies, architecture and abstract ideas catch my attention too.

I'm in my mid thirties, married with the sweetest ever daughter. I like sport and computers, which is what I do mostly on my spare time. In here I'm in charge of the technology stuff making the things work behind the scenes. I am in my early 40's, the mother of two fantastic toddlers. For my adult time and a bit of sanity, I spend my time doing a bunch stuff behind the scenes on this site ;-0 I am basically a hedonist, so good food, good drink and good times are high on my list. I'm a woman, just starting my 40's. I live in Israel. I raise 3 gorgeous daughters, a cat and a beautiful garden. I work part time as a gardener and find interest in many other fields. I have found this site almost by chance and decided I'd try to lend a hand.
