300dpi

Now when i upload my photos it comes in at a 72 dpi which i was told in a previous forum, is there a way to automatically get them to a 300 dpi or do i have to manually do that since i have a canon rebel xsi and is there cameras that have 300dpi photos....i am confused lol

Do you know how to make an action and run it in batch mode? If not give me a sec and I will make a action for you (I will make it in photoshop 7 so there will not be any problems) Do you want the out put to be any size as long as it is 300dpi or do you only want it to me an exact size like 4x6? I will wait to hear back before making the action. Let me know if you don't know how to use an action in photoshop.

I am not full educated in adobe photoshop elements 7 and for the 300 dpi if i did it for all my pictures it would help with all sizes?

would this action process be hard?
