Wednesday evening my husband and I met some friends, as we do nearly every Wednesday evening in July, at Trinity College in Hartford for an evening of sitting on the grass with our picnic and listening to a carillon concert. I brought my camera with my new Sigma 18-200mm lens (with image stabilization) and got this shot of 2 little girls playing on the lawn. I am taking as many pictures as I can to make sure that I like it and to see how it works (before I do my upcoming photography job of photographing a B&B for their web site).
I thought this picture might make a nice card. (I make and sell cards) One more use for my camera (and Photoshop).
Opinions?

very sharp and crips picture, makes me think of the innocense of being a child. I personally think that a frontal view from this angle with that tree in the backgroud would make for a better "card" picture.

So far how do you like your sigma lens? I have been reading some great reviews on it.

Of course the moment has long passed to get a front shot and this was the best of the ones I got. I actually rather like that fact that it is a back view. I kind of highlights the privacy of the moment between the girls.
As for the lens I have only had it for 3 days. Too soon to tell but so far I like it.
